Share feedback on Canada Day celebrations

Suggestions and feedback will be used to help shape future Canada Day celebrations. This year’s event included a parade and a celebration in Millennium Park involving local performers, vendors and a fireworks display over Little Lake. Our survey is open until July 9, 2025.

  • Nelson Mandela International Day is celebrated on July 18
  • August 1 is Emancipation Day in Canada, officially recognized since 2021
  • August 15 is National Acadian Day, recognized by both the Government of Canada and the Province of Ontario
  • August 23 is International Day for the Remembrance of the Slave Trade and its Abolition, designated by UNESCO
  • International Overdose Awareness Day is recognized on August 31
